A Blog About The Penn State Dog

Penn State won and Daequan Hardy scored two touchdowns on punt returns but let’s talk about the dog. (Photo via GoPSUSports.com)

Penn State beat UMass on Saturday afternoon, 63-0, in a rainy Beaver Stadium.

Several players scored touchdowns including Drew Allar, who scored four. Daequan Hardy also took two punts to the house.

But can we talk about the dog?

Seriously, there was a dog just hanging out in the student section watching the football game.

He was adorable, just having a good afternoon, watching the Penn State football game with his human.

I mean. A dog braved those elements but he also looked like he was having the best time dancing around to Zombie Nation

And he even got to meet the Nittany Lion.

No offense to Hardy but the dog was the real highlight to Penn State’s win.

And yes, you’re now probably about a hundred words into a game recap that focuses on a dog, but what else am I going to write about? This game has been chalked as a blowout since it was scheduled. Penn State was supposed to beat the crap out of UMass and it did that.

In front of a dog!

With that, I have several questions for the dog.

First off, what’s the dog’s name? Has the dog had a chicken basket yet? Is football annoying to watch as a dog because you just want to run out on the field and fetch the football every passing play? Does the dog also think Kaytron Allen should get more touches? How does the dog feel about Penn State’s chances against Ohio State next weekend?

I probably have some other questions but honestly, I don’t want to take up too much of the dog’s time. He’s clearly got a lot going on. He’s now a celebrity.

Sure, there are more important things to be writing about as it relates to Penn State football coming later this week but let’s take a moment to appreciate the dog hanging out, being a good dog and watching Penn State football win its sixth game of the season.
